Job Description

We’re looking for an Marketing Projects Specialist to work alongside our supportive and experienced Marketing team based in our East Tamaki office. This role is responsible for ensuring marketing innovation & renovation projects are delivered on time and within budget to achieve business case targets, aligned with JDE Global processes and innovation best practice.

In the role you will be responsible for:

  • Project Management - Lead innovation and renovation projects, ensuring launches are delivered on time and in full.
  • Innovation Process Expertise- Act as the innovation process expert, guiding teams through global/local gate meetings and sub-processes (e.g., artwork approvals).
  • Stakeholder Management and Alignment - Manage project team meetings and gate approval meetings. Manage stakeholder alignment and communications, including gate pre-approvals with global partners.
  • Timeline Management and Risk Identification - Develop and monitor Gantt timelines, flagging risks and recommending sequencing adjustments.
  • Hurdle Rate Expertise -Provide expertise on hurdle rates, including sustainability related metrics.
  • Portfolio Optimisation - Co-ordinate SKU deletions and phase outs, managing risks of write-offs with sales, factory, and supply chain.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in project coordination/management role and responsible for managing NPD process within FMCG.
  • Experience in developing successful products in market that add value to customers and consumers.
  • Successful experience in a high paced company focused on growth.
  • Innovation process & performance reporting experience & good analytical skills.
  • Experience in successfully managing & influencing key stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholder networks, including senior stakeholders
  • Detail orientated
  • Valid unrestricted work visa
